👋 Hello!
Hi everyone, I’m Nadia Ibrahim-Taney, and I’m really excited to be part of this community!
A little about me: I just started a PhD in Education Studies with a concentration in Action Research, which is all about using reflection and evidence-based problem-solving to complete research, which for me, focuses on improve teaching, learning, and student experiences. In other words, I love finding practical ways to make education more effective and meaningful for everyone.
As an Assistant Professor currently, I teach courses that help students connect what they’re learning in class to real-world experiences like co-ops, internships, and future careers. I’m especially passionate about creating inclusive learning environments, particularly for neurodivergent and international students.
Outside of work, I love to travel, cook, and spend time at the theater! Having done one of my master’s in London, England I try to get to the West End as often as I can, which living in America, isn’t too often.
