DAY 1 — Conversations That Transform — The Jesus Model Learn How Jesus Asked Questions, Listened, and Spoke Truth
DAY 1 — Jesus Asked Questions That Opened Hearts
Transformation Begins with Curiosity
Jesus often responded to people with questions.
Not because He lacked answers.
Because questions reveal the heart.
Questions invite ownership.
Questions move people from automatic responses into reflection.
Jesus didn’t force transformation—He invited it.
Scripture
Matthew 16:15 (NIV) “‘But what about you?’ he asked. ‘Who do you say I am?’”
Jesus asked questions that required people to think personally.
The Jesus Model
Questions create engagement.
People rarely change because they were told what to do.
People often change when they discover truth.
Reflection Questions
  • Do I spend more time talking than asking?
  • What conversations in my life need more curiosity?
  • Do I ask questions to understand or to control?
Action Steps
  • Ask three open-ended questions today.
  • Replace advice with curiosity.
  • Ask someone: “What has God been showing you lately?”
Prayer
Jesus, teach me to ask questions that invite people toward truth and growth.
