Live practice & Q&A is happening in 7 days
I am still here, just moving slow at the moment.
I have been experimenting with different set ups and ways to record inside and outside. I now use a Tascam Portacapture x8 to record sound at a better quality and it works well inside. Oh, and in case you were interested, yes my son Knut was born on the 18th last month and yes, he is healthy. It’s been great to steal myself away in quiet moments to record and play music. Working part time as a teacher in Germany now works well balancing music, family and work. Still a bit of an adjustment from working on boats, festivals, delivering yachts and sailing around the South Pacific… I notice my creativity thriving in the music space though and I am very excited to show you the new studio set up soon and continuing with the lessons on Skool. Here is my latest sound journey with the old set up in my current studio. You'll see the new and super cool set up in my following videos and future lesson recordings. I hope you are doing well too where ever you are. And if you like my creations, please subscribe, like, share or comment. It helps a whole lot to keep the momentum going. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8koz1jVyBc&t=21s
Notice the difference?
I have watched this vid multiple times being amazed again and again until I tried a didge that had similar shape to his. Have you ever played a modern long necked and big bowled didge? Did you notice the increased back pressure and how playing faster or making “tuts/trumpets” is easier? https://youtu.be/B5BWC7-r6w4?si=ajI_se4hk7oeplPd
