Who Am I?
Haha, no, this is not a trick question. But up until now, it hasn't always felt safe to unlock the truth of who you really are — even to yourself. Still, if you want to thrive in this life, you need to find your essence and live from its originality. Living out of sync with your true self causes a ripple effect — in your health, your voice, your presence, your capacity to move through life with meaning. But when you only serve one master — your essence — the extremes begin to ease. Your inner compass resets. The dilemma is real. Our minds and bodies have been trained to protect, not express. Conditioned by generations of trauma and fear, most of us inherited caution like a birthright. But to remember who you are means disengaging from the collective fear and choosing to create from the unknown. Lucky for you... you're already good at creating. Let's be real: you're struggling with identity because you're different. Sorry, love — no two ways about it. You. Are. Different. Get used to it. Get over it. Get on with it. That's your superpower. Want clarity? Start here: Clarity is what you know to your core. Not what you believe — what you've lived, felt, and now carry like truth in your bones. It's what allows you to speak with conviction, create with authenticity, and connect from the heart. A Simple Way to Get to the Essence of You - Start by noticing your daily activities — even the ones you dismiss. Cleaning. Organising. Listening. Greeting. Behind every action is a clue to who you be. For instance, sweeping and tidying may reveal you're a Transformer. Teaching? A Messenger. Hosting? A Connector. When you see through the lens of 'doing reveals being,' your identity becomes less about roles and more about essence. And guess what? That essence has always been speaking. We just forgot how to listen. Working on your own life examples will get you in touch with those qualities within you that come naturally. You just have to SEE differently, that's all. What I want you to start to see is what you do naturally, day in and day out, but have never noticed — especially as a character trait or an indicator of what others receive from you and vice versa.

After a very beautiful conversation I had with @Moira Mills from Decondition Together here on Skool, I came across this message from Martha Graham an icon for modern dancers - she said: "The beauty of your work, along with the beauty of your soul, is all that can protect you from the brutality of the world in which you create your dances, your poems, your stories, your characters. Strive for beauty in words, movements, chords. Strive for beauty in kindness and patience. The world in which artists live and work is no different from the stock market or a slaughterhouse, but we, the artists, have to be terribly different. We have to be blind to the world and brilliantly alive to the work.” ~ Martha Graham [Image: Dancer Xin Ying, Martha Graham Dance Company] From a young age I often found solace in dance where I could express myself and the audience could not stop me - not like my parents and the usual mundanes of the world. So, I encourage everyone to live to their tune and forget the rest because in being deeply connected to yourself in those moments of honest expression is the healing you're always looking for, the joy you yearn for, the love you chase. Loving you...
