Morning feeds here are usually very predictable. Everyone knows where to be and what time to be there. That may be a little because it makes me feel comfortable too. The paddocks are set up with individual feed yards so no-one has to push or argue about their feeds. It means that everyone gets the amount that works for them, along the the supplements to suit. On the left is my oldest pony, he is a Standardbred race horse. I returned to harness racing with him as he helped me get my driving licence again. He also helped me get confidence in the saddle again after a 20 year break. He has been through colic surgery over 10 years ago to reposition his spleen and is still going strong at 27. Needs a little extra food in winter, but is still assertive enough to be the leader in his paddock. The rest I'll introduce as we go along.
