It's lovely to be out here in the cooler evening listening to the horses munch on their hay. I've been mostly hiding from he heat today. Not 100% sure if it's my age, my stage of meds, or if it was just horribly hot, lol We had quite a storm this morning, around 38mm of rain. Then it's been really humid all day, perfect setup for more storms tomorrow. I noticed that there was still storm activity across the Gold Coast direction, with lightning and what appeared to be rain smudges. In the late evening light it's lovely.

Shepherds Delight. The old saying when I was growing up. Maybe it means we will have fine weather for the next few days at least. We have had a lot of rain here in SEQ over the last few days. I heard it was up to 138 mm at one point with significant flooding in some areas. Being early spring time it is warm and the grass is growing quickly. I decided to do some mowing tonight at least in the main traffic areas to make walking easier. The colours as the sun set were just beautiful but the intensity of the final burst just before dark was incredible.
