📖 ACT LIKE MEN — 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
Paul didn’t ease into this. He closed an entire letter with a battle command.
Be watchful. The enemy doesn’t announce himself. Distraction, compromise, slow drift — it all happens when your guard is down. A high-performing man stays alert.
Stand firm in the faith. Not when it’s convenient. Not when the culture agrees. When the pressure builds and the room pushes back — you hold the line.
Act like men. This is the call most men have forgotten. Step up. Lead your house. Make the hard call. Don’t wait for someone else to go first. That’s your post.
Be strong. Not in your own ability — in the Lord. The man God uses isn’t the most talented. He’s the one who refuses to buckle.
And let all of it be done in love. Strength without love is just aggression. The brotherhood God builds is hard AND kind. Bold AND merciful.
