D.I.N.E. 03.19.26 - ServeSafe
An in-person ServeSafe Manager program in Michigan equips food service workers with the knowledge and certification required to meet state food safety regulations and protect public health. Participants gain hands-on understanding of safe food handling, time and temperature controls, allergen awareness, cleaning and sanitizing standards, and procedures to prevent cross-contamination—skills that directly reduce the risk of foodborne illness in commercial kitchens.

D.I.N.E. Scholarships
This classroom is designed to provide all of the necessary information that you need to apply for a scholarship with D.I.N.E. (The Detroit Institute for Nutrition Education). The scholarships allow you a one-time Grant that pays for your Food Handler's Certification or ServeSafe Manager Certification. Please follow the instructions and fill out the application. Once we receive your application, we will let you know if you are eligible and approved for a Grant to attend one of our classes.

ON-LINE CLASS - ServeSafe Manager program in Michigan equips food service workers with the knowledge and certification required to meet state food safety regulations and protect public health. Participants gain hands-on understanding of safe food handling, time and temperature controls, allergen awareness, cleaning and sanitizing standards, and procedures to prevent cross-contamination—includes commercial kitchen licensing training for those who receive their certification. 1.5 days of training.

D.I.N.E. 05.14.26 - Food Handler's Certification
The on-line Food Handler's course is a hybrid program that begins with continental breakfast, a full day of instruction, and then an on-line, self-paced test. You will receive your certification when you pass the test. Lunch is served. This class runs from 9am to 4pm or sooner, when you finish the testing.
