How does Gemini Compare to ChatGPT

Does Gemini use up-to-date data, like the kind found on Google Search? Or is it trained on older data but augmented with things like the other Google products such as Gmail, Youtube?

In what way is it integrated with Google Search? I have seen it uses it to double-check.

Is it true that ChatGPT uses only older data of up to a certain period (like some years or months ago)?

Also, in Gemini you can upload images and sound. That's something you can't do it ChatGPT, right?

So overall, does Gemini have more capabilities? Or is it suited for a different purpose?
