Bismuth Based Transistors Succeed in the Lab

Bismuth based transistors can get as small as .5 nanometers, operate orders of magnitude faster, and use less energy than silicon. This is still research out of China, but when this hits production for AI based chips, we'll be in a whole new world. Pure conjecture, but maybe we'll be able to run LLMs as powerful as DeepSeek V3 at home.
