A Free GitHub Copilot Alternative

Since a lot of people in the community seem to be completely new to the world of tech and AI, I think I need to share here that GitHub Copilot is not really the only option when it comes to AI code generation tools.

Codeium is a newer tool and the one I've been using. Not only is it the best option out there on a technical level, but it's also free for individual developers. Other than that, they seem to care a lot more about security and privacy, which is great for us that use these tools for work.

I used it mainly for Web Development so far but I bet it's just as useful for Data Science too.

I hope this post is useful to someone out there that felt discouraged by Copilot's price tag or maybe people who are just looking for a better tool!
