The Fool
In a dimly lit room, a father sits alone, His world a blur, a life half-known. Years have etched lines upon his face, Each one a tale of time and space, Lost in the bottle, a siren's call, He watches his life slowly fall. His son, now a man, stands at the door, Haunted by memories he can't ignore. He sees the wreckage, the wasted years, The silent battles, the unshed tears. He yearns to reach out, to pull him near, To whisper words the father needs to hear. "Dad, can't you see the pain you hide? The love we share, you cast aside. I need you now, not as you were then, But as a father, a guide, a friend." His words hang heavy in the air, A plea for love, a desperate prayer. The father stirs, a flicker of light, In his weary eyes, a glimpse of the fight. He sees his son, strong and tall, And feels the weight of his own downfall. A moment of clarity, a painful truth, He's robbed his son of his golden youth. But love's a bridge that can be rebuilt, A bond reforged, a future unspilled. The son must see the man within, The father's struggle, the silent sin. And Dad must rise, with newfound grace, To heal the wounds and find his place. For in each other, they'll find the key, To break the chains and finally be free. To cherish moments, big and small, And build a love that conquers all. A father and son, hand in hand, Walking together, in this promised land.

Shattered Glass
You came into my life, a storm's cruel hand, Turning calm waters into a mournful sand. Everything I cherished, swept out to sea, Leaving me shipwrecked in misery. Not content with my heart's gentle sway, You plundered my world in a disarray. Possessions vanished, like dreams in the night, Leaving me shivering, devoid of light. Now you return, with honeyed words so sweet, Seeking entry to a soul incomplete. But the walls are up, built strong and tall, Guarding a heart that remembers it all. The scars you etched run far too deep, A constant reminder of promises you couldn't keep. In my heart, a resolve begins to ignite, To rise from the ashes, reclaim my light. To rebuild, to heal, to find my own way, Far from the darkness of yesterday. Your offer of love now rings hollow and cold, A chapter closed, a story untold. So turn away, find another shore, For the shattered pieces can't be made whole anymore. I'll gather the fragments, create something new, A life of my own, untouched by you.

My Love
In fields of green, where dreams reside, My heart found home, with you as guide. Your laughter's song, a gentle breeze, Stirring love's dance among the trees. With every beat, my heart proclaims, The burning fire of our flames. In your embrace, I find my peace, A love like ours will never cease. Through stormy seas or sunny days, Together we'll walk life's winding ways. For in your eyes, I see my fate, A love eternal, sealed by fate.

Hallow
The night descends, a heavy cloak, Each thought a stab, each word a poke. Silence screams, a deafening sound, As hope lies shattered on the ground. I don't really care if I wake up tomorrow, This constant fight, this endless sorrow. The world was bright, a vibrant hue, Now just a canvas, painted blue. My children were my world, a guiding star, Now distant echoes, faint and far. A hollow ache, a vacant space, Where love once bloomed with gentle grace. Being independent and self-sufficient was everything to me and it’s gone, A bitter truth, a mournful song. The strength I held, now slips away, Lost in shadows, come what may. Trusting the wrong people changed my life and now I don’t care if I live or die, A broken vow, a whispered lie. The path ahead, a darkened maze, In this abyss, I spend my days. Let darkness claim this weary soul, Release me from this heavy toll. No dawn I seek, no light I crave, Just endless sleep within the grave.
