Hello Everyone! I’m Marjorie, the founder and artistic director of Kaleidoscope Irish Dance & Movement Studio in Ontario, Canada. I’ve already learned so much in this community and look forward to learning and growing with other DSOs! What I Offer: I offer old-style Irish dance classes for all ages, from babies to adults. (My friends describe my studio age range “from 99 days to 99 years”). With a focus on rhythm and community, I prioritize the joy of dance. Empowering people to dance as themselves is central to me, which means we don’t do wigs, costumes, or competition. The cultural history and stories of Irish dance are integral to everything I teach. My goal is to revitalize folk traditions that are actually accessible to the widest range of people possible and help people to dance for a lifetime!
