Water Ponies.
Water Ponies. My Rating 7.5/10 Shot Using The A6400 - Samyang 12mm 1/500sec f/8 iso100 GOOD POINTS My composition feels natural and balanced. The two Ponies create a gentle diagonal that guides the eye from left to right. The water reflection adds depth and visual interest, especially the ripples and splashes from the horse on the right bringing life to the scene. The horizon line sits comfortably in the upper third. I Think I've captured a peaceful yet playful moment, the horse splashing water adds a lovely sense of personality and spontaneity. The open landscape and clear sky Gives A Sense Of freedom and Calm, making It Feel engaging and inviting BAD POINTS I'm Trying To Find Bad Points With This One, Only I Should Have Maybe Reduced The Harsh Light With A CPL Filter?. Please Critique GOOD or BAD Welcome.

"Big Puddle" New Forest UK
My Rating 7.5/10 Shot On The Sony A6400 - Lens Samyang 12mm f/2 I Think the horizon sits nicely in the upper third, and the tree occupies a strong visual anchor on the right third. The curved shoreline leads your eye from the bottom right toward the centre, creating natural flow. The open, uncluttered left side complements the detail-rich right side, balancing simplicity and interest.

"CALSHOT HUTS UK"... 15/11/2025 My Rating 7/10 Shot On The Sony RX10IV. SETTINGS: 1/500sen f/4 iso160. The muted blues, whites, and greys of the huts harmonize beautifully with the stormy sky. The red and lime green huts continue to act as effective visual anchors. They break the rhythm just enough to add interest without feeling disruptive. The clouds are expressive yet not overpowering. The warm light breaking through adds Depth that helps elevate the emotional tone of the image. The bird adds a sense of life. Its placement against a lighter patch of sky keeps it visible without competing heavily with the huts. The red and green huts that pop strengthens the lower half of the composition I think.

Yesterday I was mostly rallying
When not taking photos I also have fun as a Senior Marshal on car rallies, when on duty I can't take loads of photos, but toward the end of the event I stand down for a few minutes and pick up my camera. This was taken just 20 minutes before sunset, this would normally get deleted, but I actually quite like the obstructing Prohibited Area sign. 23mm - 170th - f2.8 - iso640
