Intro Post
Let's get to know each other. Introduce yourself, tell us something fun, and share a selfie of you, your pet, or both. I'll start. I'm Steph, born and bred in New Zealand. Oldest of four sisters, which meant I was the responsible one. The one who did things first and was supposed to get it right. Thoroughly mainstream, for a long time. Then in 2022 I had my first mystic experience. The flood gates opened and haven't closed since. Now in my 40s, I'm somewhere between a spiritual awakening and a mild midlife awakening. I ride motorbikes. I love my convertible. I fish from a kayak out at sea. I love this earth school and enjoy material things while releasing the need for them. Both can co-exist. Meanwhile I am expanding my connection with one-consciousness. I know we are all one. I'm striving for unity. I am leaning as much as possible into compassion, forgiveness and love. My day job is real estate, which I do for the love of service. I'm a qualified occupational therapist and personal trainer, though these days that knowledge mostly goes into my own obsessive interest in physical and mental health. I fast. I exercise. I meditate. I make lots of mistakes. But I'm ok with that. This is me and Harper. She's also very intuitive. x

Full Moon Ceremony, Cancelled (for now)
I've decided not to run tomorrow's ceremony. This tiny community is just beginning but this one needs more bodies and more energy before it's the right place for that kind of work. This is just a timing call. I most certainly want to do this when we have more members! If you're here in the early days of Curious With Steph, thank you. You'll be the ones who were here before it became what it's becoming. By the way, tomorrow's full moon is 11:56 a.m. New Zealand time. And I have built a kit in the classroom for you to run your own ceremony! Full moons give incredible illumination, have been honoured for millennia across every continent on the planet. They are a catalyst to support the release of whatever has been holding you back, and prepare you for the new cycle. All you need to do is sit quietly, relax, hold an intention, and see what comes to you. By the way, you can have a ceremony with just one person. Enjoy!

Lucid dreaming related
I was listening to a series on lucid dreaming and they talked about doing reality testing... like opening and closing your hand quickly turning it over and back. That in reality you could expetience it, but that in a dream state the rapid hand movements would glitch and not represent accurately. That way you coukd tell if you were in a dream or not... i thought that was pretty interesting. What reality checks do you know @Steph Bradley ?
