FOTM Module 2 - The Legal Stuff
Module 2 is more compact; one training video and 5 worksheets. Didn't see a need to do separate posts for this one, so all in one we go.
We already have a handle on this information, so this was more review for me. State & event requirements, terms you need to know, basic cottage law rules. We're already following these rules and are only selling shelf-stable products. For now, we plan to sell at farmers markets and similar vendors events only. Virginia just passed a law that will allow online ordering and in-state shipping under cottage law which goes into effect July 1. We're excited about that change!
This module was reassuring, because now I know we haven't missed anything. Time to roll on to Module 3...
