There’s a 3-minute video I want every one of you to watch right now. It shows exactly what we’ve been working on this week: angles, framing, light, and how simple choices make ordinary moments cinematic. Don’t just watch it — study it. 🔎 WHAT TO WATCH FOR (Checklist) - Light & mood: Where’s the key light coming from? - Angle choices: Why low here, eye-level there? What emotion or power do those angles create? - Framing & composition: Rule of thirds, headroom, lead space, negative space. - Depth: How she separates subject from background. - Camera movement: Static vs. subtle - Pacing: How long each shot holds; how cuts (or no cuts) control rhythm. - Sound & music: How audio supports the visual mood. - Color & contrast: Warm vs. cool tones, shadow detail, and how it sets emotion. - Story through shots: Which shot tells the moment, which one complements it. 🎯 YOUR TASK (Do this after you watch) 1. Pick one moment from the video that hit you one shot or one setup. 2. Recreate that shot (30 seconds max) using the same lighting idea, angle, and framing. 3. Post your clip in the thread with one sentence: “What I copied + what I changed.”
