There’s a 3-minute video I want every one of you to watch right now. It shows exactly what we’ve been working on this week: angles, framing, light, and how simple choices make ordinary moments cinematic.
Don’t just watch it — study it.
🔎 WHAT TO WATCH FOR (Checklist)
- Light & mood: Where’s the key light coming from?
- Angle choices: Why low here, eye-level there? What emotion or power do those angles create?
- Framing & composition: Rule of thirds, headroom, lead space, negative space.
- Depth: How she separates subject from background.
- Camera movement: Static vs. subtle
- Pacing: How long each shot holds; how cuts (or no cuts) control rhythm.
- Sound & music: How audio supports the visual mood.
- Color & contrast: Warm vs. cool tones, shadow detail, and how it sets emotion.
- Story through shots: Which shot tells the moment, which one complements it.
🎯 YOUR TASK (Do this after you watch)
- Pick one moment from the video that hit you one shot or one setup.
- Recreate that shot (30 seconds max) using the same lighting idea, angle, and framing.
- Post your clip in the thread with one sentence: “What I copied + what I changed.”
