About the job:
- Paradox Cat GmbH is a software partner specializing in real-time graphics and Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) solutions for premium automotive manufacturers.
- The company works on graphical interface development for in-car displays and infotainment, as well as emerging technology proof-of-concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop optimized 3D assets, textures, and materials for real-time rendering.
- Remesh 3D objects and efficiently create LODs, manually and with tools.
- Maintain clean and structured scenes with correct version control and naming.
- Stage vehicles and objects with realistic lighting and environment maps.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure seamless integration.
Qualifications:
- Passion for shaping premium automotive experiences.
- Degree in Media, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience in Automotive HMI, game development, or a similar field.
- Proficiency with 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, and 2D tools like Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of engines/editors (Unity, Unreal, Qt 3D, Kanzi).
- Independent, structured working style and strong communication.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience with optimization tools such as Pixyz or InstaLOD.
- Scripting skills (Lua, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum.
