I’ve just released a new movement from my Mass No. 2:
🎶 “Quoniam Tu Solus” (Gloria)
This section focuses on the powerful declaration:“You alone are the Holy One. You alone are the Lord.”
After Jesu Christe, I introduce “Laudamus Te” as a kind of choral response — a moment of collective praise before the concluding Cum Sancto Spiritu (set as a separate movement).
Written in E♭ minor, this music is intended both for liturgical use and concert performance, and may also be sung a cappella.
If this speaks to you, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Please feel free to share with anyone who loves sacred choral music.
“Quoniam Tu Solus” from my Mass No. 2 — a Gloria movement centred on the words “You alone are the Lord.”
Dark, intense, and ultimately an act of praise, with “Laudamus Te” returning as a choral response.
