Creative Play; Visual Journaling
Hello Beautiful Souls, Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about creativity as an oxygen mask. Not creativity for performance. Not creativity to make something perfect. Not creativity that requires talent or art experience. But gentle creativity.Simple creativity. The kind that helps a tired nervous system breathe again. Sometimes my own “creative medicine” looks like:• drawing circles and mandalas• scribbling color across a page• tearing paper for a collage• making marks while listening to music and all in one place, my visual journal. Without the 'rules'• painting emotions instead of pictures• sitting quietly with color and shape; sometimes with crayons another with markers, paint, pen or pencil... No pressure. No perfection. No need to be “good at art.” Just a soft place to land. I’m beginning to weave more of these practices into my upcoming YouTube sessions and my "Oxygen Mask Reset" course for over extended caregivers and overwhelmed professional women who have spent too long pouring from an empty cup. Because sometimes healing doesn’t begin with fixing. Sometimes it begins with pausing and allowing the perfect expression of self to emerge… making one gentle mark on a page at a time.. What do you think? Share here in the general discussion.

Ten Minutes for You
Why The Creative Circle Reset? -A gentle reminder
Hi Beautiful Souls, ✨ Reaching out to share this little reminder: This is your space to pause…to breathe…and to return to yourself.🧘 Inside this experience, creativity becomes your lifeline — a gentle way back to center when everything feels like too much. You are not here to perform or produce. You are here to reconnect... to your self and other like minded Souls. Through simple, guided creative moments; you’ll engage with a variety of creative actions...breathing , mark making , coloring, free writing, drawing, and most of all and always... feeling — connecting to and allowing what’s inside you to surface without force but with your super power, that is your creativity. No pressure. No overthinking. No need to have it all figured out. Just small, intentional acts of creating…that help your body soften, your breath to deepen, and your mind to begin to settle. This is your Oxygen Mask Moment—a reset for your nervous system, a quiet return to presence, and remembering that you can begin again. Here, creativity is not about the outcome. It becomes a relationship. A relationship with your breath. With your body. With your inner voice. With what is ready to emerge. One moment at a time. One breath at a time. One mark at a time. So having shared that, may I invite you to pause today .. right after reading this if possible: 🌻Breathe.. Yes, that's it . Just breathe. 🧘 Here is a little guidance - Let me encourage you to : 1. place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly button; 2. Gently and slowly inhale through the nose for 4 counts.. hold the breath for 2 counts.. exhale through the mouth ( like blowing through a straw) for 6. 3. Repeat 3 times. and Repeat as often as you need to through out the day. If you can manage to increase all counts by 2 once you get used to this..go for it. 💥 If this is too much then reduce all by 2 counts.. and maybe Not do the breath hold. 💥Always be guided by your own body and by your doctor when attempting any breath work.
Sharing the Magic of Mandalas
There is something deeply magical about Mandalas. Not magic in the 'fairy dust' sense — but the quiet, mysterious kind that awakens when we slow down enough to truly listen to ourselves. For centuries, all over the world, mandalas have been used as sacred symbols of healing, wholeness, awareness, and transformation. Again and again, people discover that through line, color, patterns, intention, and creativity, something unexpected opens. A new clarity.A forgotten dream.A gentle answer.A deeper sense of possibility. Sometimes the experience can feel almost magical — as though life is softly reminding us that there is more available to us than fear, limitation, or old stories have allowed us to see. While I’m excited for our "Mandala Making in May" gathering, I also recognize that some Souls may be longing for a quieter, more personal experience. - Perhaps the group date doesn’t fit your schedule. - Perhaps you feel more comfortable in a one-on-one space. - Perhaps you are care giving, emotionally stretched, or simply needing deeper support and reflection. - Or perhaps you are standing at the edge of new questions, new desires, and a quiet curiosity about what else may be possible for your life. Guess what?.. I have made Private mandala sessions available for persons wanting a more intimate creative journey — a space for intention setting, soulful exploration, creative restoration, and gentle discovery. These sessions are designed to help you move from overwhelm into awareness… from fear into openness… and into a space where insight, intuition, and even a little magic can emerge. If this resonates with you, simply reply and we’ll arrange your time together. With love, colorful blessings and possibility, Denise
