I’m experimenting…I’ll create a total of 100 voice notes over the next year of me performing either / or originals and covers. I’ll send them out bi-weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. The instrumentation will likely be guitar and vocals. My goal is to keep it one instrument and singer (unless it gets real boring). I’ll record it with my iPhone mic for simplicity.
Here’s what I’m curious to discover:
What if I didn’t make an album but instead sent a text with a song or two? If you stripped away nearly everything but the song and singer, can it still be good? How will the continuous nature of it affect the way it’s received? Can this form be meaningful?
If you are curious or excited or hate this, sign up. Then leave when you want. Thank you for listening and joining in.
