Hello
Hello all from Fl. Just hobbyist here for the love of the plant and all genetics , beginner breeder currently trying to bring back that mango haze we used to get all the time down here around 2010 . No one I know ever called it mango haze just mango because of how undeniable it’s smell was just like a mango. I Got a couple mango smelling phenos from Mr nice seeds and also pollinated it with a very grapefruit smelling g chem x sour diesel male should get some interesting results. Gaby or anyone have any input on why mango dissapeared or when you guys last seen it? Why no one grows it anymore? Is it just because it’s usually a long flowering sativa? For me was about 2012ish when I last seen it in flower form and I’m wondering why no one even asks or talks about it anymore I always loved it is it because the market was so flooded with it back then? Would love to hear your thoughts or maybe on a future episode of the podcast

I’m known by many names in the outlaw grow world but my friends call me Big Ray. I grew my first plants in 1977 and I’ve been growing ever since. Looking back on my almost 50 years of growing and my oh my have things changed! I bought my first grow book when I was still in High School and still remember the paranoia of being worried about getting caught with it. It was the first of many grow books that made me the grower and breeder I would become. It was Mel Franks and Ed Rosenthal's Marijuana Growers Guide that first educated me at a level above any of my grow friends and later down the line it was Robert Clarkes Marijuana Botany that taught me how to breed at a high level and truly begin to understand this magnificent plant. It was the books that informed me and is the foundation of any success I might have had. I stand here today reflecting back and know I stand on the shoulders of giants who came before me. I’ll never be able to repay you for enriching my life! I’m 66 now and still adjusting to being a legal home grower in Ohio. It’s SO WEIRD LOL Proud to have a small role in Southern Ohio Cannabis!
