Most men don’t fail TRT because of the dose.
They fail because of the delivery.
In this lesson, I break down the physiology and the real-world experience of each method:
PELLETS
- Huge supraphysiologic spike → long slow crash
- ZERO control once inserted
- If the dose is wrong, you’re stuck for 3–6 months
Pellets are like pouring concrete: once it’s in, you can’t adjust it.
IM INJECTIONS (weekly)
- Big peak → big trough
- Mood swings, energy swings, estrogen swings
High on day 2, depressed on day 6.
SUBQ MICRODOSING (EOD / Daily)
- Most stable blood levels
- Least aromatization
- Easy to adjust dose
Closest to natural physiology.
TRANSDERMAL CREAM
- Lower peaks, steady baseline
- Absorption varies
- Risk of transference
Key principle:
TRT is not about the dose: it’s about the delivery curve.
You’ll walk away knowing which method fits performance, lifestyle, and long-term hormonal stability.
