The best trainees I’ve seen weren’t afraid to ask why, seek clarification, and use instructors or mentors early. One thing I’ve learned: Skill develops through repetition. As a retired Navy Chief and current DoD Air Traffic Controller. Throughout my 20+ year career I’ve seen how much faster people grow when they have access to mentorship and a strong community.
