We made our first $997, so can you ๐
This felt so good, like insanely good. I still canโt believe it (someone pinch me) There were so many times we wanted to quit. But sticking with what @Ted Carr has laid out for us, works. Weโre proof. Hereโs how me and @Liv Nilsen did it: Phase 1: create a clear offer that people want At first, we werenโt confident, so we worked for free. We needed proof we could deliver. Those free beta clients gave us feedback, which made our offer better. We went from something vague to a clear, results-driven promise. (END RESULT) We also studied what was working in our niche instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Once we nailed it, we started charging. Phase 2: show up every day (even if it feels pointless) We figured out where our ideal audience hangs out and started providing value. We didnโt try to sell anything. We just helped out and built connections with awesome people. It felt slow at the start, but we stayed consistent. And funny enough,ย when you stop being pushy and start being helpful, people come to you. Phase 3: start DM conversations โ> book your 2 part calls Once people reached out, we just had honest conversations without any pressure, to see if we could help them. When I finally got on that sales call, it didnโt even feel like โsellingโ.ย We had something they wanted, and they were ready to do the work. What You Can Do: Listen. To. Ted. (Seriously) AND... once again, nail your offer. It has to be something people really want. You give what they need INSIDE your program. Then, show up where your audience usually hangs out (Skool, Instagram, YouTube or wherever they are). Then, give away insane value without asking for anything back. And funnily enough, you start to have more conversations. โ> start conversations: book calls. Trust the process. This works. If you DO the work. We felt crazy for believing this could happen, especially when people doubtedย us.
