When I'm planning a piece of content to be filmed, I'll have a hook/title in mind but I'm not always satisfied with it. Sometimes, I won't even have a hook in mind but rather a general topic idea - I created a Zapier automation to have ChatGPT build off what I've already thought of and provide me with 5 pretty great hooks + title ideas.
My workflow consists of filling out a simple form with the title/hook idea as well as what format this piece of content is designed for (long-form, short-form, tweets etc..). This then creates a database item in Airtable + a few other things that aren't relevant here. I simply plug the title/topic idea from the form data and connect it with ChatGPT through Zapier with the prompt: "Write 5 engaging and clickable hooks for the title" - I've been pretty brief with this prompt because I'm just playing around, but the more specific you are with it the better results you'll receive.
Then, I tell Zapier to put ChatGPT's response back into the Airtable item, in a column called "Alternative Hooks". This way I'm automatically provided with a bunch of inspiration and ideas to take from without any extra work.
