The System That Helped Me Stop Wasting My Evenings
I get it, after a long 9-5 day we’re all just tired, exhausted and want to enjoy at least 1 thing in our day, which is the evening. We want to rest - but that’s exactly the problem haha.
Down here you see the best steps of me showing every mindset that helps me do the hard work even when things get brutal after a long session:
Mindset 1: R.E.S.T. - Restart Everything Shitty Tomorrow
We all tend to be tired and exhausted on these after work evenings. But if you just “rest” (Which is more like Doom-Scrolling, Playing Games and Eating Shitty) you will never escape this depressing, torturing life.
R.E.S.T. shows us that we need to sacrifice the things that suck the most in order to grow.
Mindset 2: If not done = Pussy
So basically how this works, here is a small list:
  1. Think about every tasks that would both be worthy AND reasonable to do after work
  2. Set it into the MUST-Category (Thank Mete😉). Make them AS important AS LITERALLY brushing your teeth or drinking water.
  3. Find someone (either friend or family member) to punish you if you don’t get the work done at the end of the day. The punishment will be hard.
  4. Over time you’re going to build consistency and it will literally become your pride to get the work done - You’ll hate yourself otherwise.
