Acts of Service
Four of the twenty challenges in our upcoming adventure hunt are acts of community service.
Not pledge-it-for-later service. Real-time, go-do-it-now service.
Things like leaving five anonymous handwritten notes of encouragement around your neighborhood. Picking up litter and turning some of it into art. Building a small free library or give box and stocking it with things your family no longer needs. Finding someone in your community who is often overlooked: a crossing guard, a postal worker, a neighbor who quietly helps and showing up with a giant handmade thank-you.
We believe play and kindness aren't separate things. The best version of play spills outward. It notices people. It leaves things a little better than it found them.
That's what The Grand Unplugged was built to reflect.
The hunt runs June 19-22. Looking forward to seeing your creations!

Play is the strategy. Connection is the goal. Simple ways for families to create meaningful moments together.
