Daughter Update
For those of you who were here last week, I wanted to provide a quick update on my daughter and to thank everyone who reached out. My daughter saw the podiatrist earlier this week, no tendon damage and stitches come out in two weeks. She’s healing nicely and in good spirits. I spent the day with her today, chasing a toddler so she could rest.

@Mary Nunaley Hey Mary 😊 Thank you for the update. I didn't realise your daughter was still a toddler. For some reason, I thought she was around 3 or 4 years old. I'm glad to hear that she's on the mend, and I hope everything is going well for you and your family. ❤️ By the way, she's absolutely adorable! 🥰

@Mary Nunaley Oh, I see.💡
Has anyone here built their own website from scratch?
If so, what platform or tools did you use, and would you recommend them? I'm currently building my own website and trying to decide the best approach. I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who have built a website themselves rather than hiring a developer. What worked well for you, what didn't, and if you were starting again today, what would you do differently? I'd love to learn from your experiences. Thanks in advance!

@Janell Bitton Thank you, Janell. ❤️ I had a good look at Neta’s website. I already have an infographic and know exactly how I want my website to look, so I don’t think I want a generic-style website. Having said that, I’ll still contact her and see what she suggests.
📚 Question for Children's Colouring Book Creators
Have any of you published a children's colouring book on Amazon KDP or other publishing platforms? I'm currently working on my own children's colouring book project and would love to learn from those who have already been through the process. If you could go back and give your pre-publishing self one piece of advice, what would it be? Poll Options: I'd especially love to hear: - What surprised you most after publishing? - What mistakes would you avoid if starting again? - What worked better than expected? - Is there anything you wish someone had told you before you hit "Publish"? Thank you in advance for sharing your experience. Your advice could save a beginner from making some expensive or time-consuming mistakes! 😊

@Mayelice Castro Hey Mayelice 😊 Thank you for your reply and feedback. ❤️ I plan to use Amazon as a learning platform, where I can understand the publishing process properly and test the market with my first children’s books and colouring books. After that, I intend to buy my own ISBNs and publish my books more widely, so they can be sold across different platforms rather than relying only on Amazon. At this early stage, I’m not too concerned about how much I earn. My main focus is to learn the process, understand the market, and avoid costly mistakes before scaling properly.
Reminder- Announcing - Call for Speakers
The first Unplug & Play Week, is approaching and I’d love for our community members to be part of this. Now, before you panic, the goal is not thousands of people, instead, my goal is to build our community and grow through sharing and bringing in some new members. This is not your typical Skool summit, instead, it’s a relaxed week of learning and activities for you and your family. For starters, we have @Jen Staniforth our resident sleep expert who will be sharing her knowledge and speaking about Emotional Regulation Through Play. @Brenda Chilstrom is a pediatric occupational therapist and will be sharing The Missing Piece of Emotional Regulation: Movement, Rhythm, and the Nervous System. @Cristal Vancarson is a photographer and will be taking digital family portraits and sharing photography tips. We also have several cooking sessions, including bread making with Chef Henry from Crust & Crumb Academy. I would love to have you showcase your area of expertise. Here are a few who have expressed interest in presenting, please don’t feel left out, if you have an idea for a session, let’s connect. @Janell Bitton, @Betty Jo Winters, @Ramona Zihlke, @Celia Kibler, @Gus Gray @Anna Murrietta @Mayelice Castro @Natasha Bryant @Roslyn Hill @Daniel Cavaretta @Nat Carey @Paul Wren @Des Cooke @Paulette Ng @Paula Artis

@Mary Nunaley I hope your daughter is recovering well. ❤️ Thank you for sending over the brief. I have a few deadlines to meet this week, but I hope to get back to you sometime next week once things have settled down a little.

@Mary Nunaley I hope everything goes well with her podiatrist appointment today and that she gets the all-clear. ❤️ Hopefully, we’ll be able to catch up next week.
Welcome
