I want to share one of my favorite tools with you — EFT tapping.
This is something I personally use when I feel overwhelmed, stuck in my head, emotionally triggered, or even dealing with cravings or resistance. It’s simple, but incredibly powerful.
EFT works by gently tapping on specific points on the body while bringing awareness to what you’re feeling. This helps calm your nervous system and tells your body, “Hey, we’re safe right now.” And when your body feels safe, everything shifts.
You don’t need to be “good” at this. You just need to be honest.
🖐️ How to Tap (Keep It Simple)
First, just notice how you’re feeling right now.
Stress? Tight? Anxious? Overthinking?
Give it a number from 0–10 — no overthinking.
Now tap the side of your hand (the karate chop spot) and say this three times:
“Even though I feel ________, I deeply accept myself.”
Then tap through these points (about 2–3 rounds):
- Top of your head
- Eyebrow
- Side of eye
- Under eye
- Under nose
- Chin
- Collarbone
- Under arm
As you tap, just say what’s real:
“This stress…”
“This tight feeling…”
“This overwhelm…”
No affirmations yet. Just honesty.
🌿 When It Starts to Shift…
Once the intensity drops (even a little), you can soften it with things like:
- “I’m open to calming my body now.”
- “I don’t have to hold onto this.”
- “I’m safe to let this go.”
Again — nothing forced. Let it feel true.
💛 How I Want You to Use This
Try tapping:
- before meals
- when emotions come up
- before bed
- anytime your nervous system feels loud
Even 2–3 minutes makes a difference.
You’re not trying to fix yourself — you’re letting your body catch up to the truth.
