Welcome to The Concussion Recovery Hub 🤗
Thank you for joining us. Whether you're a patient navigating recovery or a practitioner supporting others through it, you're now part of a community built on connection, learning, and healing. Brynn and I created this space to bridge a gap we've seen for years, bringing together patients and practitioners in a supportive environment where practical, actionable information flows freely. We know how isolating limited access to resources can feel, and how exhausting it can be to navigate disconnected treatments without a clear path forward. Our goal is to help you tie all those threads together. For practitioners: we're thrilled to connect with fellow professionals in the concussion world. While Brynn and I serve as primary providers for many with post-concussion syndrome, we know it truly takes a village. This is your space to learn about different modalities, build a directory of trusted providers, and share your expertise with others. 👉 Here's how to get started: Step 1: Introduce Yourself 📣 Drop a post in the community sharing: - Where you're from - Whether you're a patient or practitioner (and your specialty if applicable) - What brought you here or what you're hoping to learn Step 2: Explore the Foundations Head to the Classroom and start with the foundational courses. These walk you through core concepts in concussion recovery that you can implement immediately, whether you're managing your own healing or guiding others through theirs. Step 3: Dive Into Specialized Content Explore courses that address your specific needs, from symptom management to treatment integration. Work through them at your own pace and return as often as you need. Step 4: Connect and Share This community thrives when we learn from each other. Share your experiences, ask questions when you're stuck, and offer insights from your own journey. Patients and practitioners alike have valuable wisdom to contribute. Step 5: Build Your Network 🤝 For practitioners: use this space to connect with others in the field, understand complementary modalities, and contribute to our growing directory of concussion care providers.

The Working Woman - Months of Struggling to Work, Full-Time Within Weeks
I had a client who was in her mid twenties when she suffered a concussion. Went to one of the most respected concussion clinics in the area. After 3 months of treatment, she was still unable to work more than a few hours a week. The brain fog, the fatigue, headaches, ....the symptoms that just wouldn't quit. We ran into one another and she had no idea I specialized in concussion recovery. Within 2 session and a few weeks she was back to work full-time symptom free. I share this not to make anyone feel like they should be further along than they are, recovery is not linear and everyone's journey is different. I share it because I know how many of you are sitting in that exact place right now, wondering if normal is ever coming back. It can. And it does. If you are months in and still struggling, please know that doesn't mean you are broken or that you won't get there. Sometimes the nervous system just needs the right support to finally feel safe enough to heal. What does your work or daily life look like right now compared to before your injury? I'd love to hear where you're at.
