Welcome to Men's Rite of Passage
I'm glad you're here. Modern life offers very few meaningful rites of passage. We celebrate birthdays, graduations, and careers, but rarely pause to ask a more important question: Who am I becoming? This community exists for men who are willing to explore that question with honesty, curiosity, and respect. Together we'll explore purpose, identity, responsibility, discipline, belonging, and the thresholds that shape our lives. You'll find discussions, reflection prompts, companion resources for The Rite of Becoming, exclusive courses, and opportunities to engage with others walking a similar path. While The Rite of Becoming is written primarily for men, thoughtful participation from people of all genders is welcome. Partners, parents, educators, coaches, and anyone interested in the importance of modern rites of passage are invited to contribute respectfully. Introduce Yourself When you're ready, tell us: - Where are you joining from? - What brought you here? - What threshold are you standing at in your life right now? There are no right answers. Only the next step. Welcome to the journey.

Mental challenges don't always look like crises.
Sometimes they look like procrastination, self-doubt, anger, loneliness, burnout, grief, fear, or simply feeling stuck. This is a place to ask questions, seek perspective, and support one another through life's challenges. Please remember that this community is built around peer support, reflection, and personal growth. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency, please seek appropriate professional support. What's been on your mind lately?

Introductions.
Tell us a little about yourself. More importantly... What threshold are you standing at right now? I will go first: Hi everyone, I'm Joshua (I write under the pen name Tiberius Ryuu). By profession I'm an ISA Certified Arborist on Cape Cod. By calling, I'm a writer, former addictions counselor, and founder of Awen Awakenings. I am a father, business owner and a hobby musician. Over the past year I've published The Path of Becoming series and recently completed The Rite of Becoming, a book exploring the role of modern rites of passage in helping men navigate purpose, identity, and responsibility. The threshold I'm standing at right now is moving from creating ideas to building a living community around them. Writing books is a solitary pursuit. Building a community asks something very different of me. It requires trust, consistency, and a willingness to create spaces where meaningful conversations can happen long after the books have been read. I'm looking forward to learning alongside all of you. Welcome, and thanks for being here.
