Point Farming

We have a good gamification system going in our community where users unlock new content when they reach a certain level. It's been really great overall for promoting engagement...

However, it's starting to crop up bit by bit that the quality of content is going down slightly, and some folks are pretty transparently engaging in "point farming."

I searched already but didn't find anything... is there anyway to combat this?
