What do we want to teach kids about money?
Kids watch what their parents do.
If Dad is constantly stressed about money…
They learn money is stressful.
If they watch Mom put off her dreams for someday until she’s got enough saved…
They learn money is more important than their dreams.
If mom and dad are off working until they’re in college or grown so they can “retire.”
They learn to put money over family experiences.
Look…
There’s been a few comments that Community FIRE ain’t “easy!”
And I ask?
Compared to WHAT?
According to the Federal Reserve…
Only 4.7% of people retire with more than $1 million.
After slaving and saving for ALL of their adult lives!
And for the 4 people out of 100 who DO hit a Millie…
The “standard” personal finance advice is to withdraw 4% a year.
That’s $40,000 a year or $3,333 a month.
Again…
Only 4 out of 100 will reach that after THIRTY YEARS of slaving and saving!
And what are we teaching our kids about money?
Now…
Compare that to…
👉 Starting an evergreen community
👉 Putting in 500 to 1000 members
👉 Running one auction a month
And easily knocking out $3,333 a month…
And if ya need more…
Bolt on another of 12+ monetization methods.
Now are there steps?
Yes.
Will it take a bit of time?
Yes.
But it won’t take THIRTY FUCKING YEARS of slaving and saving.
And I guarantee we’ll find it…
More FUN🤩
More IMPACTFUL 🤩
And something we can TEACH our kids!🧒
Kids learn by example (mostly).
Maybe we can show them that we don’t need to slave our lives away for someone else?
That there are other options rather than “Saving” it for 30 years in crony banks and institutions.
Only to have a 4 out of 100 chance of living off $3,333 which won’t go far in 2055.
Leaving 96 out of 100 to DEPEND on Social Security and the “benevolence” of the idiots in guvmint!
What could possibly go wrong?
Is CFM FIRE hard?
