Get the App: Stay connected, Don’t miss the Job!
If you’re serious about picking up work from our new Job Board and networking, I recommend getting the Skool app on your phone. The industry is small and leads get snapped up fast. If you're waiting to check your email or log in on a laptop, the job is probably already gone to the bloke who saw the notification and acted first. Why you need the app: - Push Notifications: You’ll get a ping the second a [HIRING] or [RECRUITER] post hits the board. - On-Site Access: Easy to check leads or grab a contact’s email while you’re out on a job or traveling. - Focused: No distractions, no ads, just the community and the job leads. Download it here: - Click for iOS / App Store - Click for Android / Google Play Once you've got it, log in and make sure your notifications are turned ON for the Job Board category. It's all about being proactive so have your CV & Certs in order and stay ahead of the game.

Big win for the group today.
Huge congratulations to @Aaron Evans , who just confirmed he’s landed a job through this community. It’s the first one on the board for us, and it’s great to see the networking here actually turning into real work. Best of luck with the project, Aaron. Get the Skool App, keep an eye on the Job Board, and let's keep the momentum moving. If you're finding this platform useful, consider helping support its growth by becoming a premium member for $5 per month which is a basically donation to say thanks! It helps keep the lights on, job posts coming, the networking open, and the FAQs answered for everyone.
Beginning the grind
Hey all, new to the group and just about to start the journey. 24, from the UK, living in UAE & spent the last 5 years working commercial office jobs because I thought ‘I had to’ to make money, but last few months realised that my time working in industrial construction + teaching rec diving were some of the best times of my life. Figured what better way to make a career than combining my love for being subsea with my love for construction work and move towards commercial diving. I previously worked with a number of commercial diving companies out here in UAE and I’m wondering if a sensible pivot would be to try to find an opportunity with one of them and try to get them to semi-fund my training…? Not sure if anyone has any experience with that going successfully…?
Introduction
Hello everyone! My name is Hunter Landon, and I’m set to graduate from Divers Institute of Technology in just two days. I was initially undecided about whether I wanted to go offshore or pursue inland work, but I recently received a job offer from Allied Technical Services in Cincinnati, Ohio. After looking into the opportunity, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. I’m looking forward to sharing some of my experiences with this group, and I’m excited to kick off my career with such a great company. If anyone has advice for someone just getting started in the industry, I’m all ears and eager to learn. Have a great day, and stay safe everyone!
