So I wanted to try bake half recipe of the group because I was insecure of letting my batter waiting due to the fact I don’t have another tray.
I had the brilliant idea of making half single recipe lol.
I didn’t know how to measure half 1g of egg white powder so I gave it 1g. Meringue had 28g egg white + 28g for the batch.
I added a spit of salt and tartar cream.
My macarons wrinkled in the first minutes of the oven drying. 🥲
I know they look like toasted, my oven was pre heated 160°C as the recipe said, so it wasn’t hot. I just let them cook longer because I knew it was trouble already so I didn’t care much about them to be honest LOL but they look full inside, just shells absolutely ruined 🥲🥲🥲
