Progress never sleeps, even during the holidays or while you’re on vacation. Whether the festive season brings cheer or challenges (hello, depression), here’s how to keep the momentum alive:
1. Set the Stage with a Micro-Goal:
Small, impactful moments can make all the difference. Choose one tiny action that moves the needle. Think: replying to one email, jotting down one idea, or organizing one corner of your space. Small wins fuel big moves!
2. Improv Your Energy with Movement:
Get up and move. A five-minute dance break, a short walk, or even just stretching can ignite creativity and clear the mental fog. Physical energy fuels mental momentum.
3. Monologue Your 'Why':
Stand in front of the mirror (or just close your eyes) and speak your “why” out loud. Why does this work matter? Why do you care? Hearing your passion in your own voice can reignite that spark and keep you moving forward.
These are things I have to do myself as someone that battles deoression daily. The holidays and depression don’t have to steal the spotlight. Keep the momentum alive—your masterpiece awaits!
