The paper is called "The AI Skill Gap Isn't About AI: The Case for Language Arts as the Foundation of Generative AI Interaction & Engagement," and the argument is simple: The tools don't determine output quality. The human operating them does. Specifically: their ability to think clearly, structure that thinking into language, and communicate it precisely enough that the model can actually work with it. That's not a prompting skill. That's a Language Arts skill.
