ALERT - I’ve gone from long winded to writing short stories! After a very busy weekend, especially going to a play yesterday, dinner with the family, and not getting home and settled in until 8:00 PM, even though I knew the Caydo iCord machine had arrived at my son’s house, I wasn’t ready to open it. I just wanted to relax and unwind watching TV. Well, I fell asleep for about 2 hours and woke up at 1:00 AM. It must have been the Caydo calling my name. So I watched the Classroom video again, then opened the box, started reading their instructions, even scanned the QR code that came with it. It said to watch their videos first, so I tried with the first one. It was more for troubleshooting, because when it said to wipe the needles and then oil them, I said to myself, this can’t be right. So I went back to following the instructions in their manual and felt clueless. So back to the classroom video I go. First attempt, I messed up, thread was not going through the machine and had bunched up, i tried pulling it loose, but didn’t want to risk breaking the needles, so I cut it off. Second attempt, was easy peasy. Thanks @Kim Thompson-Pinder . So now I look for the projects I was to make and started rummaging through my jewelry making supplies looking through beads, etc. Oops, my jewelry making tools are on a shelf that would require me going to get the step stool. I’m awake, but not fully awake so that’s not happening. I know where key rings are, I’ll just make do with those. 2nd project required a glue gun. Yippee, I have that! Another item I acquired from my crafty sister, although I didn’t have a clue on how to use it. Time is ticking and I have to get up at 7:15, but I’m determined. Glue gun was not as easy to use as I had hoped, blaming it on arthritis in my hand because it took both hands to press the lever so the glue could come out! Well I finished as you might have seen in previous post at about 4:10 AM. Now to get to what “I remembered!” When Campbell arrived, she’s very observant, and asked what’s this, pointing to the Caydo iCord machine, I explain we’re going to make cords with it, let me show you! Didn’t have to watch the video again and I threaded it with no problem! I’m so happy! I had a tie I made by hand crocheting that was in one of my unfinished projects. Started pulling it apart, before I ended up saying you’re wasting your time. I had a little ball left and was hoping it would be enough. Did I say I was very happy LOL
