I want to speak directly to our Free members for a moment. As part of the membership restructuring coming March 2nd, there will be one important change: Beginning March 2nd, the Free Pattern Library will move into our Premium membership. This means that Free members will no longer have ongoing access to the free pattern library. I want to explain why. When I started this community, I made as much as possible free because I wanted to remove every barrier for beginners. But as we’ve grown, the pattern library has become one of the most valuable parts of this community — and it’s also one of the most time-consuming and costly parts to produce. Each pattern requires: • Yarn • Supplies • Design time • Testing • Filming, editing and producing the pattern To continue creating high-quality patterns month after month, the library needs to become part of a sustainable structure. Here’s the positive part: The Free (Standard) membership will remain strong and focused on exactly what beginners need most: ✨ The Circular Knitting Machine Beginner Course ✨ The iCord Beginner Course ✨ Full access to the community feed for support, encouragement, and celebration No one is losing the ability to learn. No one is losing support. No one is being pushed out of the family. We are simply moving patterns into a member-supported tier so the community can continue growing. If you are currently a Free (Standard) member and would like to keep any patterns from the free library, please download them by March 1st. After that date, they will only be accessible through the Premium or VIP membership. And I want to say this gently: The Premium membership is going to be $1/month or $10/year. That investment costs less than most balls of yarn. Less than a single takeout meal. Less than a fancy cup of coffee. Less than most single patterns. For the price of something you might not even remember buying next week, you’re helping sustain: • New patterns every month • Yarn reviews • Community-created designs

Four months ago, I started this community with a simple vision: To create the best Circular Machine Knitting community on Skool — a place where beginners felt safe, experienced knitters felt challenged, and no one had to learn alone. What I did not expect was how fast it would grow. That is wise leadership. Over the last few weeks I’ve been evaluating: • What people are actually using • Where there is overlap • Where there is confusion • How to simplify while increasing value One thing became very clear: There was significant crossover between the Premium and VIP plans. So much so that it made sense to simplify and restructure rather than keep two tiers that felt blurred. At the same time, I’ve been thinking deeply about accessibility. If someone wants to: • Improve their skills • Grow in confidence • Or even make money from their knitting The price of entry should not be the barrier.
