These clues may or may not help the community figure out just how big each stash really is… 😏 👀 Community Members Did this clue change your thinking? ✏️ Design Your Own Patterns – 3 Part Course Starting Monday 💛
Have you ever looked at a project and thought… "I wish I could design something like that." Or maybe even: "Could I actually sell my own patterns someday?" Starting Monday, we’re kicking off a 3-part course on designing your own patterns, and it’s designed to help two types of knitters in our community. 🧶 For Those Who Want to Design for Themselves Some members simply want to: • Customize projects • Adjust patterns to fit their needs • Create unique designs for family and friends Learning to design your own patterns gives you creative freedom and removes the limitations of only using existing patterns. 💰 For Those Who Want to Sell Patterns (or the Products You Make) For some members, this course is the first step toward earning income from their knitting. Many patterns do not include commercial use, which means you cannot legally sell the physical items you make from them. When you design your own patterns, you remove that limitation. You can: • Sell the finished products you make • Sell the patterns themselves as digital products • Offer them through Etsy or your own website • Use them for craft/vendor shows • Build a library of designs that can earn income over time Digital patterns can create residual income, because once a pattern is written and published, it can be sold again and again without having to knit another item. And when you also sell the finished products, you create multiple income streams from the same design. This course is where that journey begins. If creating patterns or selling your finished items has ever crossed your mind, this class will give you the foundation to start doing it with confidence. 📚 What We’ll Do in the Course Across the three sessions we will: • Walk through the thought process behind creating a design • Turn an idea into an initial pattern concept • Test and refine the design • Learn how to write the pattern clearly I’ll also be sharing a great tool for designing your own colourwork patterns. 🗓 When the Classes Are

Hello everyone
Hope you’re all okay. Just popped in to say hello. I really appreciate everyone here. I’m doing okay but my husband was rushed into hospital on Monday just gone. He is immunosuppressed and has a chest infection. He has extremely low platelets and something else going on in his lungs. He also has Imunne thrombocytopenia purpura. He has had platelets, antibiotics, steroids and a lot of other medications. He may be having a camera in his lungs as there is also something else going on but it’s too early to see what it is so they will take a swab. We have been assured it is nothing sinister 🙏🏻 they are correct. I will try and pop in and out just to read normal wonderful things and see what you have all been making. Crafting is my go to, to switch off and help relax me. I had previously made a pen and flowers before this happened I have added a photo. Huge hugs and much love to you all. I miss this community 🥰
