For the next couple of months, I'll post a fun prompt every Friday that you can copy and paste into ChatGPT (or as I like to call mine, Chatty!). Chatty will use what it has learned about you from your conversations to come up with an answer—and then the fun part begins: 👉 Come back here and share your answer in the comments! If you’re brand new to circular machine knitting—or you have a machine sitting there because you’re still not quite sure what to do with it—come join me today! 💛 Our Live Beginner’s Class is open to EVERYONE in the community, and today we’re covering some of the most important basics for getting started successfully: 🧶 Yarn — what types of yarn work well and why your yarn choice matters ⚙️ Tension — how to manage your tension and why it can make such a difference in your results ➡️ Casting On — I'll show you how to get your project started properly ⬅️ Casting Off — we'll go through how to safely take your knitting off the machine 🙌 Don't Just Watch — Knit Along With Me! If possible, have your machine set up and ready to go before class. Grab some yarn and actually try each step as I demonstrate it. This is a beginner’s class, so this is the perfect place to practice, make mistakes, stop me to ask questions, and try again. You don't need to already know what you're doing.
