Welcome to the CMK Community! I’m so glad you’re here. 💛🧶
You’ve joined at an exciting time — we’re making some updates to our membership structure starting Monday, and you can check out this post to see all the details of the changes: https://www.skool.com/circular-machine-knitting/an-important-and-exciting-update-about-our-membership-structure?p=576c292b In the meantime, here’s how to get started: 1️⃣ Head to the Classroom tab and watch the “Start Here” video. 2️⃣ Download any free patterns you’d like to keep before Monday (the pattern library will be moving into our paid tiers). 3️⃣ Grab the Beginner’s Course in the Classroom tab — it’s staying free and is the best place to build your foundation. 4️⃣ Visit the Community tab, introduce yourself, and start earning points toward fun digital rewards. Nothing is happening until Monday — just be sure to download any patterns you want before the transition. I also created this post specifically for our free members that gives more detail about how these changes affect you. https://www.skool.com/circular-machine-knitting/important-update-for-our-free-members?p=d47c2050 We’re so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to see what you create. 💛 — Kim

🧶 The Great Yarn Stash Showdown – Competitors & Rules 💛
The contestants are in… The yarn counting has begun… Welcome to The Great Yarn Stash Showdown! For the next two weeks we are going to find out who truly has the largest yarn stash in this community. Is it me? Is it Julie Findleton? Or is it someone else brave enough to reveal their stash? 😄 🧵 Meet the Competitors Here are the people who have stepped forward so far: Kim Thompson-Pinder @Julie Findleton @Barbara Amarillas @Dd Stoller @Amanda Berridge @Brigitte Revel-Wall @Brenda Lonsdale @Janie Dillon @Tina Bryner @Gaelene E @Katherine Freemanfahrig @Suzane Mesheau @Linda Simard If you entered and I missed your name, please comment below today so I can add you to the list before guessing begins. 📅 Guessing Begins Tomorrow 🗓 Friday, March 8th ⏰ Runs until 7:00 AM EST Friday, March 20th Every day you can guess how many balls of yarn each competitor has in their house. ✏️ How to Submit Your Guesses Every community member may submit: ✔ One guess per day✔ Per competitor Competitors may also guess — just not on their own yarn stash. Your guess must be posted under the category: 🧶 The Great Yarn Stash Showdown Guesses posted anywhere else will not count. 🧶 Ground Rules for Competitors To keep this fair, competitors may only count: ✔ Full balls of yarn with the label on them ❌ Partial balls of yarn do not count ❌ Yarn purchased this week cannot be included So what they have right now is their final stash count. 📸 Sneak Peeks Throughout the next two weeks, competitors will post small photos of parts of their stash. Not everything…Just enough to keep everyone guessing. 😏 🏆 How You Win At the end of the contest:

First of all, thank you again for stepping forward and supporting the growth of this community. It truly means a lot. The good news is that everything is moving along nicely! 🎥 The instructional video is currently in editing, and once that’s finished the pattern will be ready to go. Everything should be completed and sent out by Friday or Saturday. 📩 For Those Who Upgraded on Monday You will receive the PDF pattern directly in your DMs. Inside the PDF will be a private YouTube link to the full instructional video where you can follow along step-by-step as I make the Upscaled Sleeved Shawl. Please note that this video link is private and not to be shared with others. This early access was a thank-you gift for those who upgraded on Monday. 🧶 VIP Member Release The Upscaled Sleeved Shawl pattern will officially be released to all VIP members on Thursday, March 19th. After that date, it will be available inside the VIP Classroom area. 📚 Don’t Know How to Do Panels Yet? No problem. If panels are new to you, the Panels Course is already included as part of the VIP Membership and can be found in: 📚 Classroom → VIP Courses → Circular Knitting Machine - How To Do Panels Once you understand panels, projects like the Upscaled Sleeved Shawl become much easier and open the door to many more design possibilities. 💛 Want Access to Patterns Like This? VIP members receive: • Exclusive patterns • Step-by-step instructional videos • Courses and classes • Business training and support • Community crafting hours And the best part?
