I started a project months ago that was going so slow, I had just about given up on it.
I needed to make a fairly small diameter tube, but the tube from the 22 was too large in a single layer and too small for if I folded the tube in half lengthwise.
What I needed was a flat panel that I could fold in half lengthwise and then close the folded side against the other two single sides to make it double layers all around the length.
I had never mastered the flat panel on my Addi 46, so I began crocheting it using Tunisian crochet.
It needed to be 100% cotton which I had never managed to get to work on either of my Addi machines.
When the Caydo arrived, I worked my way through the user manual and succeeded in making a flat panel the right width and length for my long tube. It has taken me a few days while finishing some things that had a deadline. Tonight with a bit of ingenuity and an extra pair of hands borrowed briefly from my hubby, the project is now complete.
Can you guess what it is from the photo?
