Has anyone tried this?
I discovered that it is fairly easy to make your own varigated I-cord by tying a square knot on the end of the color already in your I-cord machine.
I made about 40 ft of i-cord using navy blue, light blue, and off white. I plan to use it to make a basket, possible two baskets.
It was a little tricky since I have the smaller upright I-cord maker instead of the larger, more automatic one.
The hardest part was figuring out how to contain the long (and eventually “heavy”) I-cord so the machine wouldn’t get bogged down from the twisting and wt.
