Today’s scripture: 📖 Romans 8:11 “The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you.” That same Spirit lives inside your traumatized body. Inside your anxious mind. Inside your overwhelmed heart. You are not trying to heal alone. When your body feels stuck in survival mode, pray: “Holy Spirit, bring life back to the places in me that feel shut down.” Where do you feel emotionally numb or exhausted right now? Let’s pray over it together 🤍

If you feel anxious, snappy, or overstimulated… it may not be a faith problem. It may be a nervous system problem. Today’s tool: The 4-7-8 Breath • Inhale for 4 • Hold for 7 • Exhale slowly for 8 Repeat 4 times. This tells your body: “I am safe.” Then say: “God, You are my refuge and strength.” (Psalm 46:1) Regulation first. Revelation second. Your body has to feel safe before your mind can renew. Try this today and comment “done” when you do 💛

A little personal update...
Hi ladies! I hope you are having a great week so far! I wanted to send a quick update on my life and the coffee chats moving forward.... Over the past several months, I have been going through quite a big life transition and have been not only extremely busy, but stressed and all that comes with that. As a lot of you know, I am a wife and mom first and foremost, and because my family is going through some hard things currently, I want to make sure that I am showing up my best self for my family above all. I have 3 young children, under 13 years old and they will always come first. They are my greatest gifts and I need to make sure that I am stewarding them well in the Lord, and that means saying "No" to extra things right now. With that being said, I want you to know that I have prayerfully decided to end the weekly coffee chats on Saturdays. As a working mom, Saturdays are really one of the only days I get with my kids when they're not in school and I need to prioritize them right now with everything we have going on. I hope that you can understand this and please give me a little grace As much as I have loved hosting coffee chats with you all, I need to take this step back for awhile and focus on my family. I am not saying we are getting rid of them forever, but for the time being we will be.
