If rest makes you anxious instead of refreshed, you’re not broken. 🫶🏻
For many women, slowing down doesn’t feel safe. Stillness can feel unfamiliar — even threatening — when your body learned that staying alert was necessary.
So when you finally stop, anxiety shows up. Thoughts race. Guilt creeps in. Rest doesn’t feel restful.
Jesus rested often. He stepped away, even when people still needed Him. Rest wasn’t optional — it was modeled.
Maybe he’s calling you to rest in this season. Resting in HIM is vital to healing your wounds and surrendering your pain to Him ✝️🙏🏻❤️
Healing teaches your body that rest doesn’t lead to chaos. It leads to restoration!
Rest is part of surrender, not avoidance. Rest is OBEDIENCE!
