Hi all,
I am doing my utmost to work with my elderly parents to protect their assets and accounts from possibly likely care fees in future.
I have watched numerous videos of Peters incredible detail of the Jersey Trust and personally have a strong understand of the protocol, however when attempting to relay this protocol to my parents it appears too complex in the private and they default to "we need a solicitor" obviously statutory route.
Working off a Tenants in Common on their un mortgaged house putting together a Will Trust possibly sounds like a happy medium or better than nothing at this rate.
I am aware me and them can write it however I think this might also be too complex for them.
I believe Peter mentioned he knows a reputable Will Trust writer, however I would be really keen to hear or understand anyone else navigating something like this with their parents in Private Trust or Statutory Trust etc.
