Fking ctax liars

My daughter was a full time student from 2021-24. Then applied for smi disregard when she finished. They have backdated her disregard to 2021 when she turned 18 and now she is no longer considered to be a student during those 3 years, therefore I owe them 3 years council tax. Even though I was on income support as unpaid carer and she was a student. No others in household. How can this be right? I asked for disregard to be used for this current bill. Along with my carers disregard. Never applied for them before now so new to these disregards. I've managed to get current bill down to 25% but now with 3 years arrears I'm way worse off than paying a full council tax bill in first place. My finances haven't changed in all these years either, still an unpaid carer. Anyone knowledge of how any of this works😫😖😠
